Like most writers, Jacqueline’s been reading since she knew what a book was.  But unlike most romance authors, she didn't start officially reading romance until she was in her 20s.  Instead, she grew up on fantasy, urban fantasy, and even manga. In high school, fanfiction got added to that list and she hasn't looked back since.

Like most writers, Jacqueline’s also been writing stories for most of her life.  Everything from mystery to horror to fantasy and, of course, fanfiction. When she finally decided to seriously pursue writing as a career, she realized that her absolute favourite thing to read and write was romantic fanfiction so romance novels were the logical next step.

Now, several years later, she owns more romance novels than any other genre of novel, manga, and comic book combined.  She still reads more fanfiction than published novels though.

When she isn't writing, she can be found spending time with her husband and cat, going to fan conventions across the country, or watching Marvel movies and crying over Bucky Barnes.
